CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly reputable Group of Companies with diverse business interests including Hospitality, Leisure, Real Estate & Travel, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Reservation Manager to join their expanding team of professionals based in Paphos. The successful applicant must have extensive and relevant professional experience, ideally within a supervisory capacity.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Setting up, maintaining and extending the Reservations Department.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient operations within the department.
  • Build strong relationships with guests in order to gain full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectively.
  • Supervise performance of Reservations staff.
  • Allocate daily task to Reservations staff.
  • Review reservations booked daily.
  • Review arrivals report daily and any inconsistencies are investigated immediately.
  • Monitoring telephone manner and general performance of reservations staff daily.
  • Responsible for implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Observes and ensures that proper telephone manners are maintained at all times.
  • Ensure special handling of repeater guests.
  • Follows up bookings and update reservation status.
  • Reviews no-show and cancelled reservations and processes charges according to apartments' terms and conditions.
  • Work closely with Sales and Contracting department to ensure satisfactory apartment inventory, and compliance with rates and promotion.
  • Handle guest complains and problems.
  • Support and train reservations staff in sales techniques.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • 2+ years experience in Reservations, Sales or Front office department or equivalent as a Supervisor is required.
  • Working experience in Online Travel Agencies would be considered an advantage.
  • Perfect telephone skills.
  • Skills to handle discussions and solve problems.
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motive the reservations staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills.
  • Excellent selling capabilities.
  • Flexible to respond to a range of different work situations.
