CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding CySEC Licensed Investment Firm with offices in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit a suitably well-qualified and experienced Financial Controller to join their team of professionals. The successful applicant will be a full member of the ACCA/ACA/CPA and have a minimum of 2+ years of previous and demonstrable experience in a similar capacity.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Publish complete and timely financial statements to company executives, shareholders, and the board.
• Oversee all company accounts and investments.
• Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
• Coordinate with colleagues to prepare the company’s annual report.
• Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business.
• Supervise transaction-processing operations.
• Liaise with Accountants in other Group offices overseas.
• Report to Company’s VP Finance.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Educated to degree level in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Member of a professional accounting body (ACCA/ACA/CPA).
• 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar capacity is essential.
• Excellent communication skills in English are essential (written/spoken).
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Previous and demonstrable Managerial experience is a must.
• Willingness to travel abroad as and when required on work assignments.
