Company Description:

On behalf of a Client, operating in the leasing industry, we are seeking a high caliber individual for the position of Financial Controller, for our Client’s premises in Nicosia.

Job Duties:

Reporting to the Director of the Group, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall supervision of the Finance function, for overseeing the day-to-day accounting department’s operations, for providing guidance and supervision to the accounting department as well as for maintaining good inter-group relations with subsidiaries worldwide and external associates i.e.: banks, auditors etc. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the adherence of internal and Group reporting procedures and controls, for timely & accurate preparation and submission of management accounts, statutory FS, tax returns, central bank reports and Group Consolidated reports etc. Finally, he/she will be responsible for the monitoring and reporting the Treasury activity, for preparing the budget and reporting as well as ensuring timely submission to the management and the Group.

Qualifications:

• Professional Qualification Member of ACCA/ACA
• At least 4 years of previous experience with one of the Big 4 Audit firms
• Good knowledge of CY Tax and International taxation will be considered as an advantage
• Excellent Knowledge of the Greek and English Languages (spoken and written)
• Computer Literacy (MS Office and Accounting Software)
