The team 

A career in Tax Compliance within our Tax Reporting & Strategy practice, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations. You will be trained on basic VAT and tax principles and you will use the latest advanced technologies to process transactional data and perform tax computations. You will be part of a team of experienced professionals, working closely with colleagues from the wider PwC network, and you will receive ongoing coaching on the job to continually strengthen your acquired skills.

Main responsibilities 

  • Participate in the delivery of projects in the areas of VAT and tax compliance.
  • Make use of advanced technologies to process data and prepare draft tax returns.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce further automation in our work processes
  • Work as a member of a team which in some cases will extend outside Cyprus
  • Communicate your deliverables and report to a dedicated team manager
  • Be ready to travel with short notice to other jurisdictions and work within a local team of peers for a pre-agreed period of time

What we are looking for 

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, IT, data analytics, or other related fields
  • Understanding of basic VAT and Tax principles will be considered an advantage
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Confident, articulate and able to communicate in a clear and effective manner
  • Highly motivated individual who can work in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team 
  • IT literate
  • Availability for occasional travelling
