AAATrade is looking for additional Executive Director with legal background (qualified lawyer) with advance knowledge in finance and the banking industry. As an Executive Director, you will also be responsible to oversee the day to day operations of the Company.

Main Responsibilities

• Exerts overall control over the Company’s affairs and the Management of the Company, especially as regards the implementation of strategic objectives, and act as one of the persons who effectively direct the business of the company;
• The Appointee may be a member of any committee as shall be determined by the Board of Directors;
• Shall govern the Company by broad policies and objectives;
• Responsible to ensure that the Company maintains and implements an adequate internal control mechanism;
• Consents and approves the selection of third parties (i.e. sub custodians) which shall be holding Client/corporate funds and other financial instruments;
• Ensures that the conditions included in the outsourcing agreements with the relevant service providers or individuals, are always adhered to;
• Adhere and observe strictly any duties imposed by the capacity of Executive Director by whether those are imposed by rules of Law and/or Equity and/or either those are imposed by CySEC or any other relevant supervisory authorities, Cyprus Law and/or European Union Law and irrespective of what form of legislation that those duties might take.

Key Requirements

• University degree in Law or equivalent;
• Previous experience at least 10 years in the finance/banking industry;
• Excellent command of English;
• Strong managerial skills and ability to lead a team;
• Efficiency under pressure and consistency in meeting tight deadlines;
• Attention to detail and quality of work;
• Experience within the financial industry is advantageous;
• Knowledge of company’s law is required.
