Information Security Engineer

The position:

We are looking for a hands-on passionate Information Security Engineer to join our team.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

  • Providing support to security operations including end-user security issues
  • Participating in real-time security monitoring and analysis using SIEM and other security tools
  • Working closely with other teams to support the incident response processes
  • Reporting and staying abreast of current security threats
  • Identifying information systems security vulnerabilities and developing remediation techniques
  • Maintaining security solutions such as firewalls and SIEM 

Main requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in information security, or any other related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ working experience in security operations and in building/maintaining security Systems
  • Understanding of incident response and analysis
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, IPS, SIEM, WAF, authentication and VPNs
  • Knowledge of various information system technologies (Windows/Linux systems, Active Directory, VMware, databases etc)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 
  • Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail
