Our client has many years of presence and experience on providing Telecommunication solutions all over Cyprus.  The company provides the solutions to install and maintain a totally integrated voice and data network for any business type and size, and has been at the forefront in execution of a wide array of high-profile voice and data projects with great success. The company's core products and services include installation and maintenance of PBX Telephone Systems, Full Spectrum Structured Cabling, Fiber Optics, WIFI Networks, and CCTV.

We are seeking an organized, reliable, and driven cable technician to work as part of their team to install, troubleshoot, and repair various voice and data cables for both residential and commercial environments.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality service and excited by complex problems and challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair structured cabling systems, most often involved with television, telephones and internet services
• Test and troubleshoot issues with network communication
• Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly
• Repair related poles and towers to resolve cable issues
• Pull, route, or label CAT5, CAT6, and fibre optic cables
• Install various support structures, including cable racks, j-hooks, innerduct, and other related structures
• Communicate and collaborate with other members of the field service team to resolve complex issues
• Provide high-quality service to all customers
   

Candidate Profile:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing cable for network communications
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history
• Strong knowledge of industry standard cable specifications
• Communication skills with the ability to successfully collaborate with other members of the team
• Fluent Greek and English would be ideal
• Solid problem solving capabilities
• Ability to identify different colors and learn color codes
• Ability to work at heights and lift 50+ pounds
