We are currently looking to recruit an Actuarial Consultant to join our Financial Risk Management team at our offices in Nicosia. The successful candidate, as part of the existing advisory team of the Financial Risk Management Department, will provide a wide range of advisory services to the Insurance industry, focusing on Solvency II, IFRS 17, financial reporting and reserving.

The Opportunity:

  • Assisting in the delivery of a wide range of client engagements, working as part of a project team on client sites
  • Providing technical input to a number of projects (including transactions support, capital management, modelling, Solvency II, IFRS 17, finance transformation, financial reporting, restructuring, reserving and audit support)
  • Supporting senior management efforts to cultivate and maintain target client relationships, including assisting with proposals and the development of sales materials
  • Drafting reports and presentations
  • Working with other KPMG teams and providing technical input (including transactions support, capital management, modelling, Solvency II, IFRS 17, finance transformation, financial reporting, restructuring, reserving and audit support)
  • Supporting the team in areas such as sales and marketing, research and development of new services

The Requirements:

  • University degree with grade 2:1 (or equivalent) in Actuarial Science, Risk Management or Mathematics
  • Partly-qualified Actuary, having passed all the 7 core principles exams will be considered as an advantage
  • Practical actuarial experience will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel/Word/PowerPoint (Microsoft Office)
  • Advanced Excel and VBA knowledge will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken)
