Responsibilities 

The successful candidate will assist the CFO in the Financial Management reporting and budgeting process, TAX and VAT compliance and the preparation of annual IFRS Financial Statements. Main responsibilities include:

• Assist in the preparation of the annual budgeting forecasting process and oversees and monitors expenses against the budget of the Company.
• Performs cost reviews, introduces and implements changes to control costs.
• Preparation of annual Financial Statements under IFRS in close relationship with the External Auditors.
• Preparation of financial reporting and monthly management accounts.
• Monitoring and control of VAT and Tax issues.
• Any ad-hog tasks that might be asked to perform by the CFO.

Profile of the ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA / BSc) in Accounting / Finance / Economics/ Business Administration or other related field and/or ACA/ACCA qualification  and/or Master’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics/ Business Administration.
• At least three (3) years post ACA/ACCA qualification experience, preferably within an International Company.
• Excellent knowledge of English and Greek language, both written and verbal.
• High level of knowledge according to IFRS Standards and Cyprus Tax and VAT regulations. 
• High level of knowlege in Computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel,  is consider mandatory
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-tasking, planning and managing various projects and activities.
• Ability to work on own initiative, decision maker with leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills .
