The team
A career in the Risk & Quality team will provide you with the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team responsible fordeveloping risk management and independence policies and procedures and providing relevant advice, guidance and support. You will also have the chance to monitor compliance with these policies, through the establishment of
internal control systems, in accordance with PwC’s global risk management and
independence standards and policies.
Main responsibilities
• Assist in implementing the global and local risk management and independence
compliance programmes of PwC Cyprus, including monitoring, testing and documenting compliance with policies, procedures, standards, laws and regulations (e.g. ISQC1, Auditor’s Law, EU Audit Regulation, IESBA Code of Ethics and more).
• Advise colleagues on a daily basis, on how to deal with risk management and independence related matters.
• Prepare and deliver training to colleagues on Risk & Quality matters.
• Assist in the preparation of high quality reports in relation to Risk & Quality activities in supporting the Firm meet internal and external reporting obligations.
• Assist in promoting awareness of global and local risk management and independence
policies and standards
What we are looking for
• A university degree holder (preferably in Accounting, Economics, Law, or any other university degree that demonstrates ability to identify business risks as well as interpret and analyse policies and procedures in a corporate environment)
• No previous work experience is essential
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
• Innovation and persistency
• Eagerness for continuous learning
• Team spirit.
