CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected provider of Audit, Accounting and other professional services, we are seeking to recruit an Assistant Compliance Officer to join their expanding team of professionals in Nicosia. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in a relevant position.

• Assist in the effective implementation of the AML Manual, policies, procedures and controls and ensure their compliance with the relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist in the compliance risk assessment process ensuring that all compliance risks are appropriately identified, assessed, reported and monitored.
• Assisting on the documentation for KYC section of the permanent files for our audit clients
• Assist in the day to day functions of the department with regards to Compliance.
• Keep abreast and review of new and amended regulations and advise on necessary actions to be taken.
• Suggest improvements and provide advice and assistance to employees on compliance matters.
• Assist in the development of training material and in the provision of training and updates on compliance matters.

• Ideally educated to degree level in Business Administration, Law, Economics or related field.    
• 2+ years of experience in Compliance/AML is a must.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities coupled with attention to detail.
• Ability to use own initiative, prioritize and work independently.
• Fluent in Greek and English is essential.
