RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems ( Windows/Linux) and applications on the Company’s Personal Computers (PCs), Notebooks and other desktop devices
• Maintain and configure network printers.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems effectiveness and efficiencies;
• Take staff through a series of actions, either face to face, over the telephone or the Internet to resolve any desktop related issues;
• Provide support to staff, including procedural documentation where needed;
• Troubleshoot desktop system both for windows and Linux OS
• Be able to troubleshoot network problems;
• Diagnose and solve hardware/software faults;
• Replace faulty parts or systems as required;
• Make supervised adjustments to desktop systems software and systems configurations;
• Review diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;
• Update such documentation as required;
• Set up new user accounts on company’s systems/ profiles and resolve password issues;
• Respond promptly to call-outs;
• Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time;
• Rapidly establish and maintain a good working relationship with staff;
• Performing routine inventory audits of systems, software and Hardware;
• Responsible for the proper and efficient filling of all documents relating to the above procedures;
• Performing any other activity assigned by the head of IT Infrastructure from time to time;
• Fully responsible for the Desktop/Laptop Operating system;
• Ensure that all Desktop Operating Systems are fully updated/patched and secured.
• Administer Company’s physical access system
• Administer Company’s AntiVirus suite
• Carries out any further duties assigned by their line manager
• Contributes to a positive and dynamic working environment

REQUIREMENTS

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Fluency in English
• Experience in FX, gaming or similar would be consider an advantage
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
