CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a licensed investment firm with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit an Operations Analyst to join their expanding team of professionals.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Middle and Back Office trade processing.
• Data capturing, storing and management.
• Reconciliation and confirmation of trade details with the company’s counterparties.
• Dissemination and reconciliation of all trade data, static data and operations’ data with third party service providers of the company.
• Bond and cash settlements as well as handling of any settlement issues.
• Processing of financial instruments in OTC and exchange traded markets.
• Break resolution (P&L valuation).
• Transaction lifecycle event processing and recording.
• Corporate action management.
• Derive and deliver management information reports for Senior Management.
• Supporting the trading desk in operational issues.
• Liaise with counterparties to resolve any issues and ensure efficient settlement of trading activity.
• Performing any other related duty assigned by the Senior Management from time to time.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University degree in finance, Banking, Investments or related field.
• Professional experience of at least 2 years in a similar position.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to provide reports and insights.
• Problem solving capability to solve complex trade flow, accounting issues and discrepancies.
• Ability to work well individually and within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Awareness of market and industry trends.
• Understanding of Financial Instruments will be considered an advantage.
