Our client based in Limassol is an international forwarding company that has a long-term operational experience in the market of trans-forwarding services in oil, gas, coal and grain. My client is currently recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing investment ideas and strategy in cooperation with the team.
• Researching and analysing company financial statements
• Evaluation of third party investment proposals (private equity, real estate, funds and other projects)
• Preparation of presentations
• Monitoring performance of portfolio and investments on a daily basis
• Handling of general admin tasks and other one-off tasks provided by Senior Management:
• Basic bookkeeping
• Budgeting
• Document management
• Correspondence management
• Written and verbal translations
• Preparation of periodic financial reports
• If required, perform administrative duties and other one-off tasks set by the management:
• Organizing the office and helping the team to optimize the work
• Sorting and distribution of messages / communications on time
• Creation and updating of records ensuring the accuracy and reliability of information
• Scheduling and preparing meetings
• Troubleshoot routine office problems and respond to requests
• Coordination with other departments to ensure compliance with established procedures
• Assistance in management of ad-hoc requests related to management of a portfolio of private property as well as other requests directed by the stakeholders.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or Economics is preferred. Any other degree is also acceptable.
• Strong drive and commitment, ability to work independently and to execute multiple task under time pressure
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Good understanding of accounting
• Proactive and entrepreneurial approach
• Proficient in conversational and written English and Russian. Greek would be an advantage
