VACANCY FOR A TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER OFFICER

THE POSITION

The Office of Technology Transfer seeks to recruit an enthusiastic and driven individual for the position of  Technology Transfer Officer to join their team, for full time employment.

PROFILE OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will be part of a very active and motivated team whose role is to transfer the NIPD state of the art technologies to laboratories worldwide.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The selected candidate will:

• Liaise with Research & Development, Marketing and Sales departments to design, develop and sell new technology transfer products (diagnostic NIPD tests)
• Develop in-depth knowledge of laboratory procedures, lab-workflow of diagnostic test and data analysis
• Create materials for technology transfer products
• Be involved in deployment procedures according to NIPD Technology Transfer office standard procedures
• Provide customer support

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience or pharmaceutical experience
• Previous technology transfer experience in a technology transfer office will be highly desirable
• An MBA or a Masters in Biological Sciences will be considered an advantage
• Well organized and detail oriented
• Flexibility and ability to travel
• Strong command of the English Language
