CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a large Group of Companies with diverse business interests, we are seeking to recruit an experienced and well-qualified candidate for the position of Solutions Designer to be based in Nicosia.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• The Solutions Designer helps transform a set of requirements – customer, IT, industry, and legal/regulatory – into software solutions.
• Analyses customer needs and develops replies; negotiates with customers.
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams.
• Communicates overall design and approach to a team of programmers; creates flowcharts, diagrams, other models, and programming instructions to guide programming team.
• Reviews requirement and designs changes, determines what parts of software are affected.
• Collaborates with other IT specialists, technicians, etc., to deliver software solutions.
• Is able to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.     

Key Skills/Experience:

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software engineering is preferred.
• 4+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Excellent command of the English and Greek languages (written & spoken).
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Dedicated, motivated and reliable team player.
• Must have demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team of programmers.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels are essential.
• Must be detail oriented, yet creative.
• Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills needed.
• Proven experience in designing, delivering high-performance and reliable systems.
