SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Ensures that food and beverages are served correctly and promptly, that Guests are well served and that his subordinates carry out their duties through continuous training.
- Ensures that the actions taken and duties carried out by his team-members are in accordance with the pre-set procedures and contributes towards their execution.
- Greets Guests in the correct manner.
- Ensures that Restaurants, conference halls and events halls are opened according to the procedure.
- Knows all the different types of dishes on the Restaurant menus, as well as their ingredients, and explains them to Guests if requested.
- Knows all the wines on the Restaurant wine lists, their origin, description and combination.
- Knows all the drinks on the Restaurant and Bar menus, their ingredients, their origin, and combination.
- Knows all the different types of cigars on the Restaurant and Bar menus and the correct way to present and serve them.
- Knows and can explain to Guests the various buffet dishes.
- Takes orders according to the correct Hotel’s procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience
- Very good knowledge of Greek and English language
- Communication skills
- Pleasant personality
- Team Spirit
