Head of Digital Marketing

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven individual to lead our digital marketing efforts as the Head of Digital Marketing at TUS Airways. The Head of Digital Marketing is:

  • Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and meet or exceed revenue through various online channels.

  • Responsible for the optimisation and upkeep of tusairways.com, this individual will also ensure cross-functional working to develop offers, content and to continue site development in line with commercial strategy requirements.

  • This role leads the management, production, and optimisation of all owned digital content across all channels, including organic, social, SEO, tusairways.com, as well as with partner and future on-board digital assets.

  • This role will have innovation at its heart, keeping abreast of latest trends, competition, and the wider travel industry to ensure TUS Airways establishes itself effectively and then remains relevant across all digital channels and through social media engagement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategic Development:

  • Develop and implement digital marketing and social media strategies aligned with the company's objectives, target audience, and market trends.
  • Consumer first approach in developing our website, App and future developments online in terms of functionality, content and optimal navigation to ensure an industry leading position.
  • Utilise market research and data analysis to identify growth opportunities and target segments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital marketing efforts with overall business strategies.

Digital Performance Management:

  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance using analytical tools and metrics.
  • Identify trends, track KPIs, and generate actionable insights to optimize campaigns and improve ROI.
  • Prepare regular reports and present key findings to senior management.

Digital Innovation Management:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive digital innovation within the organization.
  • Recommend and implement new digital marketing initiatives, tools, and techniques to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement within the digital marketing team.

Online Brand Management:

  • Oversee the management and optimization of the company's website and content.
  • Ensure the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
  • Lead the SEO strategy, working closely with agencies to improve tusairways.com content for SEO performance across all key markets, continually looking at new ways to enhance content and improve technical SEO to drive improved rankings. Ensure that we deliver SEO effectively in all key languages (eg: English, Hebrew, Greek, German, English etc) by working effectively with partners across all markets.
  • Monitor website performance, implement improvements, and oversee content creation and publication.

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engage with customers.
  • Manage social media channels, content calendars, and influencer partnerships.
  • Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and optimize social media campaigns.

Digital and Social Media Content Creation:

  • Lead content strategy and develop calendar for all activities.
  • Create content universally recognised as original, relevant, and visually engaging; in line with brand values and in a cost-effective manner.
  • Manage photography and videography for all social, promotional & content campaigns. in close collaboration with the Marketing team and, where appropriate, outside advertising & marketing partners/agencies.

Customer Relationship Systems Management:

  • Oversee the management of customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer segmentation, personalization, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to integrate digital marketing efforts with customer touchpoints.

Digital Advertising Management:

  • Plan and execute digital advertising campaigns across various channels (search engines, social media, display networks, email marketing).
  • Identify and manage opportunity through paid digital marketing channels driving to tusairways.com, ensuring quality traffic to the site and coherent customer journeys to aid conversion.
  • Optimize campaigns to reach target audiences, increase conversions, and achieve cost-efficiency.
  • Manage digital advertising budgets and partnerships with external agencies or vendors.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or a related field. Master's degree will be considered an asset.
  • Proven experience (+7 5? years) in digital marketing, with a focus on strategy development, implementation, and optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, display advertising, and content marketing.
  • Proficient in using digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing digital advertising campaigns and budgets.
  • Solid understanding of website development, UX/UI principles, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and a drive to stay ahead of industry trends.
