TUS Airways is inviting candidates to submit their CV applications for the following position which must fulfil the requirements below:
Supply Chain Officer/AOG
The Supply Chain Officer/AOG is part of TUS Airways’ AOG Purchase department that provides round-the-clock, global support to the fleet. This role:
- is the primary point of contact to deliver swift and precise solutions for all AOG and urgent aircraft material requests.
- decides, executes and coordinates activities that support urgent material requests from Part 145 MROs. These activities include the transfer, purchase, sale, loan or exchange of parts to customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receives and processes AOG and urgent material requests from MRO.
- Identifies material in TUS Supply Chain, release available material from BIRD Part 145 stores or expedite existing orders.
- Strategically sources material from external suppliers using all available tools.
- Obtains multiple quotations (as per procurement policy) prior to the procurement of requested materials.
- Works as a liaison between Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering and Maintenance departments.
- Continuously follows-up to ensure supplier and delivery commitments are met for all AOG and urgent material requests.
- Ensures seamless collaboration, proper communication and quality service to both internal and external customers and partners.
- Ensures duties are performed in full compliance of existing procedures and processes.
- Ensures pro-active mitigation of operational risks.
- Provides back-up to other team members in performing their functions whenever required.
Requirements & qualifications:
- Previous airline / aviation experience (MRO/OEM) will be considered.
- Working experience in the areas of customer support, purchasing, material management, logistics or general supply chain will provide a strong foundation for you in this role.
- Demonstrated ability to understand, adapt and work with people of various backgrounds and culture.
- Logistics software experience preferred
- Self-initiative and ability to work independently with little supervision required.
- Uncompromised customer and service minded problem solver.
- Highly motivated, stress resistant and result oriented.
- Good team player, flexible, self-starter and proactive.
- Good administration skills with attention to details.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
- Proficient in Greek and English languages.
- Willingness to work in a 2-3 shift working system (24/7).
- Advanced communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills.
