The Role:

Leo Trust (Cyprus) Ltd, a subsidiary of Leo Trust Switzerland AG, is looking to hire a Senior Compliance Officer to be based in the company’s Nicosia office. This person will be in charge of the Compliance function at a Group level, as well as manage the local Compliance function of the Cyprus office. The role is for English language speakers. German language knowledge will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Manage new business onboardings and support client reviews
• Handle requests such as amendments on existing client accounts in coordination with the Corporate Administration departments in Zurich and Cyprus
• Provide Compliance and KYC related advisory to Management
• Reviewing of drafted legal documents (e.g. contracts, agreements, resolutions, etc.)
• In charge of conducting Compliance audits
• Keeping up to date with the latest requirements and trends in offshore jurisdictions

Required Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a senior compliance-related function, ideally in the fiduciary industry
• CySEC AML Compliance Certification and CySEC Regulatory (Advance)
• Good knowledge of client documentation and regulations in offshore jurisdictions primarily: Panama, Belize, BVI, Bahamas and Marshal Islands.
• Tax experience (i.e. FATCA and CRS) would be an advantage
• Knowledge of the CySEC ASP regulations and requirements would be an advantage
