CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Payments Officer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a junior member of the payments team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including assisting with the preparation and monitoring of cash flow and executing timely payments and monitoring potential issues. An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business will be considered an advantage and any previous experience working in a similar role will be considered an advantage, although training will be provided.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist the preparation and monitoring of cash flow.
• Monitors settling of funds accuracy, schedules set up, and keeps track of settlements.
• Executes timely payments and monitors potential issues.
• Communicates with banks and responds to their requests.
• Ensures timely and accurate trade settlements.
• Liaises with other departments to investigate discrepancies.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage.
• Fluent in English language, both verbal and written.
• Advanced computer software skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Outstanding ability to identify errors.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Team player and trustworthy.
