Restaurant Food Cost accountant

Leading restaurant group is seeking an experienced and qualified candidate for the position of restaurant Food Cost accountant, to its new Italian and Japanese restaurants, opening soon in the center of Limassol.

Education:

Higher education in the proper field or equivalent, proven work experience on a similar position.

Responsibility:

Working closely with Chef, General manager and Sou chef on ensuring the Food Cost is within the targeted percentage. Creating Calculation Cards in cooperation with Chef for every and each dish, ingredient, sauce, garnish etc., as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, pre-mixes and lemonades on the menu. Monitoring changing products cost from suppliers, making timely changes to the recipes and calculation cards. Participate in the monthly inventory and formulating inventory results.

• Excellent knowledge of operational and financial business processes of the restaurant;
• Knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping;
• Knowledge of 1C programs, Materials Control

Requirements:

• Carrying out sales in Materials Control;
• Creation of the restaurant’s nomenclature;
• Creation of new suppliers in the MS program;
• Carrying out write-offs and posting of invoices in the MS program;
• Creation of calculation cards;
• Binding of calculation cards;
• Strong understanding of inventory process;
• Uploading write-offs and invoices to the program;
• Carrying out reconciliations with contractors;
• Loading incoming invoices into the 1C and iiko programs;
• Preparation of invoices for payment;
• Formation and submission of alcohol declaration.
