The team
A career in the Risk & Quality team will provide you with the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team responsible for developing risk management and independence policies and procedures and providing relevant advice, guidance and support. You will also have the chance to monitor compliance with these policies, through the establishment of internal control systems, in accordance with PwC’s global risk management and independence standards and policies.

Main responsibilities

  • Identify business risks, which can result in material financial, operational, regulatory, or reputational risks for the firm
  • Implement controls and procedures in line with the firm’s quality management systems to mitigate risk exposures on Anti-Money Laundering, Joint Business Relationship (JBR), Acceptance and Continuance of clients
  • Provide training and consultation to staff members, with navigating through the established risk management and independence practices within the firm’s services.
  • Periodic review and testing of all risk management and independence processes to monitor compliance with the firm’s policy with respect to risk management and independence.
  • Prepare high quality reports on the activities of the Risk & Quality Function and support the firm in meeting internal and external reporting obligations.

What we are looking for

  • University Degree
  • Exposure in identifying business risks as well as interpreting and analysing policies and procedures in a corporate environment, will be considered an advantage
  • No previous work experience is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • A team player, with good self-management skills and an ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suites.
