Job opening: Lawyer

Pericleous Michail LLC is looking to recruit a lawyer for full-time employment at its Limassol office. Hiring immediately.

Duties

• Undertaking civil litigation matters, including drafting correspondence, pleadings, applications and other related documents and appearing in Court (interim proceedings and on the merits);
• Undertaking legal transactional matters in the fields of property law, corporate and commercial law, including negotiating, drafting and reviewing agreements and other legal documents.
• Conducting legal research and rendering legal opinions and advice;
• Liaising with clients and other third parties;
• Liaising with the Court Registry, the Land Registry, the Tax Department and other public authorities;
• Collaborating with the rest of the legal team on other duties as and when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
• Cyprus Bar Association Professional Licence.
• Literate in Greek and English, spoken and written.
• Computer literate, including in MS Office and Outlook.
• Motivated and responsible.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to work under pressure.

Considered an advantage

• Masters’ in law (LLM) or other professional legal course;
• Prior litigation or transactional experience.
