Almond Recruitment, on behalf of our client, a successful ship management company have a fantastic opportunity for a Russian speaking Senior Accountant to join their vibrant office in Limassol. The successful candidate must have solid experience in accounting and have a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Monthly financial and management reports
• Arrange and streamline accounting processes
• Bank account management and reconciliations
• Process payment orders of the company
• Liaise with banks and other financial institutions
• Post-fixing reconciliations and audits
• Ensure financial accounting and document workflows meet the requirements of accounting standards and business needs
• Bookkeeping

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Accounting qualifications would be an advantage
• Fluent in Russian and English
• Experience working in the shipping industry is an advantage but not a must
• Knowledge of Cypriot and international taxation principles, as well as IFRS and transfer pricing
• Advanced Microsoft Excel user
