CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Database Developer to join their team based in either Limassol or Nicosia. The successful applicant will work as part of an established and growing team tasked with developing and executing database queries as well as integrating and maintaining database code in procedures, scripts, queries and views. You will hold an academic background in Computer Science or any other related field and possess some knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute database queries.
• Develop high-quality database solutions.
• Integrate and maintain database code in procedures, scripts, queries and views.
• Collaborate with other teams for data integration.
• Optimizing SQL code as necessary.
• Analyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
• Self-motivated and self-managing, with excellent organizational skills.
• Eager to learn and improve skills.
