CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established and expanding Group of Companies operating in the Engineering & Construction sectors, we are seeking to recruit a Production Engineer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant should hold an academic background in Mechanical Engineering and will be responsible for helping to manage and oversee production, carrying out regular, ongoing maintenance of machinery. You should possess approximately 4+ years of proven experience within a production and/or manufacturing environment and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek & English.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Help to plan, manage and oversee production.
• Design and implement cost-reductive changes.
• Develop and draught an improved production process.
• Maximise productivity of machinery and workers.
• Assess and analyse current production methods.
• Determine which equipment will be used and where they will be stationed in the facility.
• Follow product specifications and quality control measures.
• Train, supervise, and manage production line workers.
• Ensure all steps of production run efficiently.
• Develop and implement quality control measures.
• Educate employees on proper methods to operate machinery.
• Diagnose breakdowns and troubleshoot problems.
• Carry out regular, ongoing maintenance of machinery.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering.
• Approximately 4+ years of previous experience working as a Production Engineer within a manufacturing company is essential.
• Ability to solve routine manufacturing problems with minimal assistance.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek & English.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
