On behalf of our client an independent firm of accountants and auditors, which is a
member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Cyprus (ICPAC) is looking to hire Audit Trainee.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Undertake the audit of small and medium sized firms.

• Operate the audit software.

• Process financial statements under IFRS.

• Liaise with clients’ accounts department staff.

• Review clients’ internal control procedures and systems to identify weaknesses and

• opportunities for improvement.

• Participate in other types of engagement the firm carries out.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field

• Partly qualified ACA or ACCA.

• Fluency in both English & Greek.

• Knowledge of Caseware Audit International and/or any other accounting, audit,

• financial reporting software will be considered an advantage

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Excellent knowledge of IFRS’s and ISA’s.

• Knowledge of Russian or other languages.

• Good IT skills and agility in learning new and proprietary software.

• Solid analytical and organizational skills.

• The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and display professional conduct
