Compliance Analyst

Codellon Limited has been providing first-class support services to the online betting and gaming industry for over 20 years including the Marathonbet brand. Some of the areas we specialise in are marketing, quality assurance, finance, customer service, anti-fraud, and compliance.

We are currently seeking a compliance analyst for our Limassol, Cyprus offices.

Reports to: Chief Compliance Officer

Purpose of the Role: To support and assist Regulatory C

Compliance teams in Administrative and Regulatory Compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee complaints queries and ensure the ownership of these is taken in a timely manner.

  • Thoroughly investigate customer complaints in accordance with internal procedures and timescales.

  • Liaise with other departments in order to understand the underlying causes of complaints and where appropriate make recommendations on potential improvements.

  • Ensure complex complaints are escalated to senior management timely and with full overview of the issue.

  • Review and investigate escalations received in the Compliance inbox from the third parties and internally.

  • Assisting with drafting policies and procedures.

  • Performing Player Protection investigations triggered by the manual and automated alerts.

  • Carrying out customer profiling and transactional analysis on customer accounts, reviewing relevant documentation as part of a risk assessment.

  • Monitoring problem gambling customers following relevant procedures.

  • Conducting player source of funds checks in line with our Responsible Gambling and Anti Money Laundering policies and procedures.

  • Ensuring the smooth running of compliance processes, including registration, validation, allocation and management of all team tasks.

  • Maintaining deadlines and ensuring timely execution of all tasks.

  • Coordinating correspondence with other departments and companies/contractors within the Group.

  • Store & organise all documentation on Compliance drive to have it accessible whenever needed.

  • Managing Compliance spaces, making sure tasks are assigned to relevant persons in a timely manner and following up on these as and when required.

  • Liaising with other departments as and when required.

  • Escalating issues to senior management as appropriate.

  • Keeping abreast of professional knowledge by participating in training, maintaining personal networks and studying developments in quality management within the industry.

  • Undertaking ad-hoc tasks as instructed by management.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of online gaming and betting industry.

  • Ability to make informed decisions within the remit of company policies and procedures (using sound judgement to escalate cases where appropriate).

  • Solid analytical skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good organisation and prioritising abilities.

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

  • Reliability and good attendance record.

  • Fluent English.
