CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established and expanding Investment Firm with offices in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. The successful applicant primarily be responsible for writing high-quality test cases both for manual and automated execution, helping to ensure software quality and performance. You should hold an academic background relating to Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar and possess approximately 3+ years of previous experience with both manual and automated software testing. Excellent communication skills in English are essential. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Writing high-quality test cases both for manual and automated execution.
• Execution of automated test suites and provide reports on the analysis of results.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
• Interact with the business to understand product requirements.
• Perform stress test scenario on high availability products.
• Work closely with the development team and project/product management.
• Investigate client reported problems.
• Keep track of quality metrics.
• Verify that the final product meets requirements.
• Analyze product features and suggest changes to enhance them to make them more efficient and user friendly.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry developments, standards and regulations.
• Optimize the testing process.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Approximately 3+ experience years with both manual and automated software testing.
• Experience in testing Web and Client/Server applications.
• Understanding of software QA methodologies, processes, and automation frameworks.
• Experience in analyzing software specifications, designing, implementation and executing of test cases and procedures.
• Working knowledge of test management tools (e.g. Jira, Zephyr etc…).
• Excellent analytic, problem-solving, communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Team player with a sense of responsibility and accountability, self-motivated.
• Working knowledge of automated applications such as Katalon Studio (Selenium) ,Postman for Web APIs etc…
• Understanding of the SCRUM Methodology.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence and GIT.
• Experience with web technologies, software development and testing using programming languages.
• Previous working experience in the Forex industry will be considered an advantage.
