The Role

The successful candidate will be primarily involved in the following:

• Manage, direct, and monitor Business Continuity teams on multiple engagements in a wide variety of industries
• Perform business impact assessments to be able to develop and propose continuity and resilience strategies, write continuity plans, crisis management scenarios & simulations and testing processes ("ISO22301", "BS 11200:2014")
• Develop a growth vision and set challenging personal and team goals
• Maintain communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure that engagement deadlines and quality expectations are met
• Be in charge of client accounts, including billing, fee analysis and collection
• Manage presales and sales activities related to Business Continuity Management services
• Develop, manage, train and mentor the supervised teams and assess their performance
• Contribute thought leadership to business continuity practices

Requirements

• University Degree in IT or any other related field; Master’s degree will be considered an advantage
• Five to seven years of experience in a technology position with a broad knowledge of IT
• Previous Business Continuity experience gained within a large client-facing organization
• Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) or similar industry certification
• Highly developed Business Continuity, project management and people management skills
• Excellent written and verbal English language skills
• Ability to interact and influence decision making at the Board level and perform a broader commercial role within Deloitte
• Outstanding analytical skills and attention to details
• Ability to work individually and drive the team in meeting the engagement objectives
• Competency to manage many competing tasks and projects simultaneously and to manage problems and conflicts efficiently
• Ability to manage large accounts and maintain strong business relationships
• Willing to travel for short and long-term duration
