ROLE

We seek to recruit an experienced Accountant to join our Accounting Department

Duties & Responsibilities

• Managing own portfolio of Bookkeeping clients
• Actively monitoring and updating accounting records
• Collecting necessary documents regarding financial affairs of clients
• Planning, execution and completion of bookkeeping
• Banks, debtors, creditors reconciliations
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Preparation and submission of VIES returns
• Follow-up on deadlines
• Administration of monthly Payroll, PAYE and Social insurance
• Handling client queries and providing assistance
• Preparation of Trial Balances to be forwarded to the Audit Department for audit

Requirements

• At least 6 years working experience in a same position

• Knowledge of Intelisoft Accounting Software

• Practical experience and knowledge in areas covering VAT, VIES and Payroll

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Greek and English
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office especially Excel and Word
• Good organizational skills
• Able to work independently
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of Caseware will be considered an advantage
• Desire to exceed expectations
