A career in the Data and Artificial Intelligence Lab (DAIL) within Technology Consulting will provide you with the opportunity to help
organisations uncover enterprise insights and drive business results using smarter data analytics.

We focus on a collection of organisational technology capabilities, including business intelligence, data management, and data assurance
that help our clients drive innovation, growth, and change within their organisations in order to keep up with the changing nature of customers

Main Responsibilities

We are looking for highly motivated newly graduates or young professionals that are eager to develop their competences in the field of
applied data science/data engineering. As our consultant you will have a unique opportunity to develop your skills in solving business
problems for industries such as Public Sector, Financial Services, Retail, FMCG, Shipping, Healthcare and various others. The main
responsibilities of the successful candidate include the following:

• Generation of business insights with data analysis
• Data preparation and quality control
• Training and evaluating machine learning models
• Code development for data collection and analysis
• Supporting PwC industry experts with technical skills on consulting engagements
• Presenting generated insights to non-technical colleagues or to clients
• Participating in the proposal-making process within your area of expertise

What we are looking for

• Newly graduate or a young professional with up to 3 years of experience in any relevant industry, with exposure or keen
• interest in the areas of data science/data engineering
• University degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Economics, Physics or in any related field
• Knowledge of SQL and at least one Data Science related programming language, preferably Python or R will be considered as
• advantage
• Exposure with analysis of large data sets and good knowledge of machine learning algorithms
• Exposure with state-of-the-art data collection techniques including web scraping and crawling
• Knowledge of any of the following will be considered an advantage:
  • Big Data Ecosystem such as Hadoop (HDFS, YARN), Spark (PySpark/Scala, MLlib, GraphX), Hive/Presto/Impala
  • Java or Javascript/HTML
  • NLP tools and methodologies
  • Effective visualisation techniques and tools such as Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI
  • Cloud ecosystems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal, writing and editing skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language
