On behalf of our client, an international brand with offices around the globe we are looking to hire staff for its Limassol-based office. We are looking for a Back-End Developer who is ready to become a part of their highly professional team based in Limassol.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Back-end developer
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Proven experience with PHP
• Working knowledge of frameworks such as CakePHP, Symfony or Laravel
• Front-end language proficiency (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, and CSS) is a must.
• Teamwork abilities and a problem-solving mindset are also required.
• A BSc in computer science or a related discipline is a bonus.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Unit testing
• Integrate with 3rd party applications
• Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
• work with front-end developers to link user-facing aspects with server side logic
• Give internal teams training and support.

Develop reusable code and libraries for future use, work with system administrators, designers, and developers to identify new features, stay current on technology advancements, and carry out any ad hoc activities as assigned by the line manager or senior management of the company.
