CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and well-known company operating within the Aviation industry, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Data Analyst to join their growing team based in Larnaca. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for the analysis, interpretation, reporting and forecasting of data for the preparation of business cases for the company. You will ideally hold an academic background relating to Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis, Economics, Engineering or a similar field and possess previous demonstrable experience within a similar data driven, analytical role. Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must, including the use of Formulas as well as fluency in both Greek & English.

Role Responsibilities: 

• Analysis, interpretation, reporting and forecasting of data for the preparation of business cases.
• Handling of incentive schemes in terms of administration and benchmarking overall traffic performance against competitors.
• Assisting with the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets.
• Become familiar and use software systems used internally for accessing data for analysis.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• BSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics or any other related field.
• Previous work experience in a position where extensive analytical work was carried out including but not limited to developing and maintaining big spreadsheets for business analysis is essential.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Advanced Excel with extensive use of Formulas; knowledge of macros will be considered an advantage.
• Very good knowledge of the Greek and English Languages is a must.
