Symeonides Fashion House Ltd-Marks & Spencer seeks to recruit high caliber professional for the following position:

Area Manager – Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca and Paralimni

The position requires an experienced professional with financial background and commercial awareness. The ideal candidate should be a hands-on style with the ability to communicate at all levels and work in a rigorous process driven framework. The candidate will be responsible for Paphos stores, Limassol stores, Larnaca stores and Paralimni stores, and will report directly to the Commercial Manager.

The position

• Drive forward the strategic development of the retail operation at M&S and deliver outstanding performance in all aspects of sales management
• Lead a team of Store Managers to establish the highest standards of customer service across Cyprus, ensuring appropriate objectives, measures and key performance indicators are in place and address any issues as appropriate; To create an enjoyable customer experience which exceeds customary standards and service levels; Seamless customer journey through training, developing, and leading by example
• Work alongside the store managers to support members of the retail team and ensure they are developed, coached, and mentored appropriately and operate in line with guidelines and procedures; To drive team performance and develop staff by providing a stimulating and supportive environment
• To support the execution of the company’s operation strategy
• Drive excellent store standards though effective store management; maximize sales and profit opportunities in all stores

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or Economics or Management or any other relevant field
• 4-5 years relevant work experience (in a managerial position)
• Excellent knowledge of Greek & English languages
• Excellent computer literacy
• Ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team
