The Consulco Group is seeking to recruit a high calibre candidate for the position of Technical Manager in the Information Technology Department to be based in our Nicosia Office

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide IT services & support to the group for local and international offices, ensure effective global technology investment decisions, improve service and efficiencies
• Manage, share knowledge, mentor and develop IT team members
• Define IT standards and policies in compliance with external auditors
• Design and implement a Cybersecurity strategy to protect company data
• Maintain, monitor, and support the infrastructure, network, telephony and mobile environment
• Ensure backup and recovery processes requirements are met in line with budget
• Maintain an effective antivirus, anti-spam and anti-malware strategy for the IT infrastructure
• Develop infrastructure and security related policies and procedures to be followed by the IT team and end users
• Provide IT hardware support (workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and telephones, etc.)
• Manage hardware and software asset inventories
• Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, security and training of staff members and end users of administrative systems
• Identify critical business issues and develop workable solutions
• Record technical specifications for systems, data generation and reporting
• Ensure that the LAN is running smoothly and efficiently
• Proactively advise management team on software and hardware needs
• Interface with external consultants and service providers
• Maintain Exchange Server e-mail system, including directory, file permissions and user accounts
• Administer data back-up system restore as required
• Design and administer virus protection procedures

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any other related field
• 5+ years experience in a similar position
• Experience in management, provision, monitoring of network and communications environments including topics such as virtualization, servers, data storage, security, mobile devices, printers and other peripherals
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines, solutions-orientated and focused upon delivering results
• Outstanding Computer literacy. Strong (and up to date) knowledge of several environments and their infrastructure requirements and operation: WAN, LAN, VOIP, Windows OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, MS Server, MS Office 365, MS Exchange, MS SQL, IIS, VMWare, MDM Solutions (InTune), VPN
• Excellent command of Greek and English language
