CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established Group of Companies with diverse business interests, including Private Equity, we are seeking to recruit a Personal Assistant to join their expanding team based in Larnaca. The successful applicant will possess 2+ years previous demonstrable experience in a similar role, and speak an excellent level of fluent English. Knowledge of the French or Greek language would be highly desirable.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Maintaining office systems, including data management and filing.
  • Arranging travel including flights and accommodation for Cyprus and international offices.
  • Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate.
  • Organizing and maintaining diaries and making appointments.
  • Dealing with incoming email, faxes and post, often corresponding on behalf of the manager/s.
  • Carrying out background research and presenting findings.
  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations.
  • Organizing and attending meetings and ensuring the manager/s are well prepared for meetings.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff.
  • Organizing correspondence and following up on pending matters with limited direction.
  • Managing full cycle of specific projects, defined by manager.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Ideally educated to degree level in Business Administration or any other related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Personal Assistant is essential.
  • Experience with KYC / bank reviews will be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Prepared to work out of core hours when required.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Project management skills and experience.
  • Professional and positive demeanour in all interactions and ability to develop and maintain successful working relationships.
  • “task orientated” with a “make it happen” attitude.
  • High standard of confidentiality and strong work ethics.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Powerpoint.
  • Fluency in English. French or Greek Language would be advantageous.
