Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 

• Review of junior teams accounting and audit for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries (i.e. financing, investment companies, trading companies) in accordance to the accounting common practice, the International Financial Reporting Standards, Companies Law as well as the International Standards on Auditing, as well as all relevant forms for filing to the Cyprus Authorities.
• Able to review VAT returns in accordance with the relevant VAT legislation, as well as completion and submission of the VIES Reports, for the companies that have this obligation.
• Able to complete accounting and audit engagements for director’s review and sign off.
• Communication with clients and fiduciary service providers when conducting an engagement.
• Ability to review tax computations and liaising with Tax Authorities.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

• Accountancy graduate from a top tier university with at least 2.1 or equivalent.
• Qualified ACCA or ACA.
• School leaving certificate with at least 18/20.
• Competent knowledge of MS Office (knowledge in Caseware & Esoft accounting system would be an advantage).
• Outgoing and pleasant personality.
• Fluent in Greek and English with Russian being advantageous.
