A successful high-end interior design studio, based in Limassol, is looking to expand our team with some new talent. ⁠

Our studio is looking for an Accounts Manager who will be responsible for financial strategy, administrative work, cash flow analysis, and accounting practice. Responsibilities include professional-level accounting duties, including general ledger reconciliation, financial reporting, audit preparation, taxes reporting and payroll. 

The successful candidate will look to continuously improve processes, enhance system/process controls, provide value, add analysis and support for the projects.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Performs various administrative and accounting works;

  • Prepares all reports/manuals for internal and external agencies as required;

  • Invoicing and receivables control and management;

  • Execution of banking transactions including payments, account openings/reviews, and other applications;

  • Performs account reconciliations and budgets to ensure the accuracy of account balances and the proper accounting treatment of transactions;

  • Prepares budgets, financial overviews, and reports for management’s support;

  • Prepares and submits local taxes and reports according to tax calendar;

  • Analyses existing policies and procedures and recommends new methods for improved operations for fiscal management;

  • Preparation and submission of payrolls, social insurance, PAYE, and employment related forms and reports according to local tax and labour legislations;

  • Preparation and execution of contracts and other legal documents;

  • Performance of specific tasks or special projects as requested.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and Accounting or related area;

  • 5 or more years of accounting and/or fiscal management experience;

  • Knowledge of computerized financial systems required, InteliSoftCy experience preferred;

  • Must be proficient in general PC and office software applications including, but not limited to Excel, Word, Teams and Powerpoint;

  • Perform with a high level of accuracy;

  • Ability to think commercially;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

  • Willing to learn in a collaborative team environment.

 

This candidate must speak fluent English. Greek and Russian would be preferred. The applicant must be eligible to work in Cyprus.
