CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a truly global and world-renowned company with regional offices in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team of professionals based in Nicosia. This role will be an initial 10-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of a longer term engagement thereafter. The successful applicant will possess a minimum of 1+ years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience and be fluent in both Greek and English.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 

• Perform reconciliations of Banks, Creditors etc...
• Maintain accounting records and daily bookkeeping.
• Analysing and reviewing data in order to produce reports.
• Assist in internal controls monthly reporting.
• Assist in month-end group reporting.
• Participate in other accounting related duties.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

• University degree holder in Accounting or Finance or other related field.
• 1+ Years of relevant experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping is a must.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent knowledge of the English and Greek Language.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail, with the ability to spot numerical errors.
