Career Opportunity

On behalf of a client, a diversified group of companies, we seek to recruit an experienced and hard-working Senior Accountant to join their offices in Limassol.   

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Accounting Department to ensure proper accounting records.
  • Supervise the process of recording invoices, receipts and payments.
  • Supervise the payroll processing.
  • Supervise the preparation of daily reconciliations of banks, debtors and creditors in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and Taxes.
  • Prepare documentation related to annual audits by external auditors.
  • Lead the preparation of Management Accounts and other Reporting Packages.
  • Engage in various ad hoc duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer, through whom the individual will be reporting to the Directors.

Requirements

  • Holder of LCCI Higher or other equivalent qualification.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in big accounting department in Trading Enterprises.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Computer Literacy, with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One will be considered an advantage.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • Attention to detail.
