Supervisor for our Compliance Department

Our company is looking to recruit a Supervisor for our Compliance Department in Nicosia, with 2-4 years of relevant experience (CySEC compliance experience for Investment Firms/Investment Funds) with regulated entities / financial sector with at least one year in AML/ Compliance roles.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Always up to date with regulatory requirements and guidelines and assisting with updating company procedures and policies where necessary to ensure continued compliance;

• Oversight of onboarding of clients, ensuring proper monitoring of client transactions and activities;

• Review, approve, and monitor company marketing communication for compliance with regulations;

• Responsible for preparing regulatory  reports to CySEC;

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements and other legal documents;

• Reporting directly to, giving legal advice and guidance to the senior management team;

• Assisting and advising in negotiations and rollout of contracts and projects;

• Reports directly to BOD;

• Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele.

WHOM WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We wish to employ someone who has:

• Educational background in Law, Finance or a relevant subject;

• Experience with working with CySEC regulated financial institutions;

• CySEC Advanced Certificate and/or CySEC AML Certificate or willingness to attain such certificates;

• Experienced in working under pressure, shifting priorities and delegating tasks as new assignments and projects arise;

• Organised, focused and diligent;

• Willingness to learn and evolve in a fast-paced environment

• Communication skills, both written and verbal;

• Excellent command of the Greek and English language;

• Excellent use of MS Office or relevant writing tools;

• Professionalism, work ethic, self-motivated and team player;

• Positive can-do attitude highly committed personality.
