Our Business Process Solutions (BPS) department is seeking to recruit a dynamic and high calibre professional to join the team as a Junior Accountant, in our Nicosia Office.

The Business Process Solutions team

Our BPS practice helps businesses enhance performance and efficiency through the below services:

• Formation of Companies, Partnerships and Trusts
• Corporate Secretarial and compliance support
• Company Administration
• Accounting and Financial Reporting
• Payroll, corporate tax and VAT compliance

The Role

The successful candidate will be part of our established team which provides payroll and accounting services to local and international clients. Key responsibilities of the position include, among others:

• Bookkeeping of end of month, quarter or year closing
• Preparation of reconciliations
• Preparation and updating of daily transactions
• Assistance in preparation of periodic management accounts
• Assistance in preparation of other financial information

In this role, the successful candidate is expected to act as an individual contributor, delivering high quality work with guidance from senior team members.

Requirements

• Holder of LCCI Higher or CAT or similar qualification
• Undergraduate degree from a reputable University in Accounting or related fields
• Up to three (3) years of relevant experience in a Professional Services organization
• Experience with financial statements preparation will be considered as an advantage
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent computer literacy and strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge of an Accounting Software system will be considered an advantage
• Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
