Our Risk Advisory Services Department is expanding and we are seeking to recruit a dynamic and high calibre professional to join us at the level of Senior Manager/Director, in our Nicosia Office.

The Role

The successful candidate will be actively involved in a variety of projects with primary focus on Investment Funds and Investment Firms Advisory services such as structuring advice on optimal investing vehicles, regulated entities establishment and ongoing advisory, regulatory strategy consulting, technology and reporting solutions, Funding and Capital optimization; Regulatory compliance (MiFID, UCITSD, AIFMD, CRD, CySEC/CBC regulations etc). Additionally, there will be involvement in work related to Banking Advisory and AIFMD/UCITSD-compliant Depositary frameworks.

As part of this mandate, the successful candidate will be involved in drafting articles/ papers to be published by Deloitte; engagement in Business Development initiatives; development to deliver seminars and workshops to clients on technical matters (e.g. regulations, legislation, practical implications).

In this role, the successful candidate will be expected to develop high-performing people and teams, leading and supporting them to make an impact that matters, and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service.

Requirements

• Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate degree from a reputable University in Economics, Mathematics, Law, Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines
• Minimum four (8) years of relevant professional experience in the Financial Services sector with emphasis on Investment Funds/Firms, Asset Management, Banking and Regulatory matters. International work experience will be considered an advantage
• Possession of a relevant professional qualification will be considered an advantage
• Knowledge of European fund regulations and structures
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
• Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
• Strong multitasking, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
• Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
