Webmaster

Responsibilities

• Responsible for building sites which are easy to use & attractive
• Implementing and ensuring website security and data protection
• Maintaining websites and servers to meet user needs
• Create strategies to grow subscriber base and web traffic metrics.
• Ensuring the functionality and efficiency of web infrastructure (e.g. optimize loading speeds and capacity)
• Updating website content and reviewing SEO
• Monitoring and analyzing site performance (e.g traffic, conversions)
• Addressing and responding to user comments 
• Coordinating with designers, content providers, and marketing

Requirements

• Proficient in HTML/CSS, XML; knowledge of SQL and Javascript
• Working knowledge of website management tools and IT security
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
• Knowledge of web analytics and SEO
• Online Marketing skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Web Design/Development or a related qualification
• Previous experience in a similar role

Competencies

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to generate creative ideas
• Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
• Good collaboration skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform under pressure
