HEAD OF SALES AND MARKETING

On behalf of our client, a prestigious entity with luxurious seafront Real Estate developments, we seek to recruit a dynamic and high calibre professional for the position of Head of Sales and Marketing.

THE POSITION

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the sales and marketing strategy, leading the Sales Department of the Company and overseeing the planning and the successful implementation of the related initiatives and activities, ensuring effective customer acquisition and revenue growth. More specifically, the responsibilities of the successful candidate will be the following, amongst other:

  • Propose, develop and execute sales growth strategies and action plans, in order to meet the Company’s sales and revenue targets
  • Ensure significant lead generation for the Company, chase and conclude on key sales opportunities
  • Lead and oversee the Sales and Marketing Department  and provide guidance and support to the team members, as well as to the external sales and marketing agents, while ensuring maximum performance
  • Develop a high performing team of senior managers and inspire ownership and accountability for the set targets
  • Communicate to the sales and marketing team the strategy and business plan and provide leadership and direction in order to ensure that strategic action is implemented effectively
  • Build, lead, manage and operate the various sales channels of the Company
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential or existing high-profile clients
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the real estate industry and propose any further initiatives or adjustments to the  action plan, as necessary
  • Attend local and international exhibitions, trade fairs and networking events and effectively represent the Company and promote and communicate the unique proposition of its real estate developments
  • Track the Department’s financial figures such as budgets, expenses and sales targets, set and evaluate performance and Key Performance Indicators and take proactive action when necessary 
  • Prepare and provide to the CEO and Board of Directors detailed reports for all key areas of his/her responsibility with a particular emphasis on sales and inform on developments and factors which influence performance and suggest any operational improvements or adjustments to the relevant action plans
  • Set effective policies, procedures and operations for the Department and ensure adherence and timely updating when necessary 
  • Ensure full compliance with quality standards, Company policy, applicable laws and regulatory requirements and monitor that all related administrative tasks and filing are performed effectively and timely
  • Promote a culture of positive staff morale, high-performance, agility and accountability, so as to attract and retain talented individuals

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Civil Engineering or in a related discipline
  • Real Estate License will be considered as an advantage
  • At least ten (10) years of professional experience in sales in a reputable organisation, in the real estate sector, of which at least five (5) in a sales management role
  • Experience in reporting to Board of Directors or Shareholders and working closely with the Top Management team
  • Strong knowledge of the local real estate market
  • Effective people management skills with ability to influence towards the achievement of objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and teamwork
  • Impeccable lead generation, negotiation, networking and representation skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Ability to perform in a highly dynamic environment with strict deadlines
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both written and verbal, knowledge of the Russian language will be considered an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office and particularly Excel, ability to use virtual collaboration tools 

REMUNERATION PACKAGE

A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and experience.
