If a UKD is found successful will be offered a Fixed Term Appointment contract for 1 year and the relevant provisions of the Recruitment and Appointment Policy will be applicable.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA FOR THE ROLE:

• Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Yachtmaster Cruising Instructor
• RYA Shore based Instructor
• Standards of Training, certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) qualified
• Commercially endorsed-

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

• RYA One Day Course provider
• RYA Power Boat Instructor
• Understand MOD Procurement
• RYA Yachtmaster Instructor, Commercially Endorsed
• Extensive Sail Experience
• Clear Understanding of Military Ethos
• Capable of working with minimal supervision
