We are currently looking for a Networking Engineer based in Cyprus. The successful candidate will be analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, migrating, maintaining and repairing network infrastructure and the associated application components and must be able to do so from inception to hand-over in an autonomous, self-sufficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and configuration of LAN switching, IP routing and network security.
• Primary customer technical contact
• Day-to-day operations, maintenance, monitoring, upgrades of networking systems
• Problem determination and resolution
• Working on-site with customers to provide technical support, setup assistance, and technical coverage for unified communications networks
• Responding to inquiries from clients, staff, service providers and vendors to provide technical assistance and support
• Maintaining multi-site network operations
• Member of networking solution design and delivery teams
• Able to carry out site surveys and audits
• Able to provide accurate feedback to the rest of the team with regards to customer requirements and required changes
• Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives
• Achieving reliable, timely and high-quality design and deployment work, troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services and be able to accurately diagnose root cause
• Any other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Skills

• ≥ 3 years of hands-on experience as a networking engineer
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of routing and  switching
• Have a solid understanding of networking technologies. Experience with HPE and Cisco technologies would be considered an advantage
• Any certifications in networking technologies would be considered as an advantage
• Good firewall skills. Knowledge of Palo Alto and Checkpoint would be considered as an advantage
• Familiarity with using the network Management tools
• Team player  and strong time management and organizational skills
• Fluency in both Greek and English

Remuneration
