Senior Auditor

On behalf of our client, a well-established and highly respected Audit Firm located in Nicosia, SL Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Senior Auditor.  

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Audit for local clients
• Prepare and discuss reports to communicate audit findings with Senior Managers
• Safeguard compliance with established control procedures
• Liaising with clients and advising when necessary, ensuring that they meet all their filing deadlines
• Collect operational information and prepare audit and control reports
• Identify and report inconsistencies or areas of non-compliance and provide advice on changes
• Ensure that policies, legislation and regulations are being properly followed and complied with
• Presenting findings and recommendations
• Filing of income tax and employers’ returns

Candidate Profile

• Qualified or Part qualified ACCA/ACA
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in audit 
• Excellent communication, time-management, reporting, analytical and presentation skills
• Fluency in English and Greek, both verbal and written
• Ability to deliver on strict deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professionalism and high levels of discretion are required
• Well informed regarding current financial topics, tax laws and market
